  1. From all the stories I have read in Literature, this is the one that I have liked the most!!
This is a story that makes me feel interested in reading. This story keeps you in suspense. The whole time you are wondering what’s going to happen to Paul. It also makes me feel nervous the fact that he can be murdered at any time, because he is living with a crazy lady, a killer. This is a really good story, but the characters (the killer lady) are very weird. I mean, who kills a rat with its own hands? I haven’t finished the book, so I guess Paul will have to look a way to get out of there, and I hope he does. To sum up, if you like to read and you like suspense stories like me, you will love this book.

  2. My comment about Misery is that Annie Wilkes is a lonely woman. Her obsession or devotion for Paul Sheldon`s work is the origin of her loneliness. She feels that it is her responsability to force out the novel from Sheldon, perhaps to save a premature writer`s book, through the book Wilkes treats Sheldon with torture and pain to force him to write. With time Annie becomes really obsessed, she appears now as a suffering woman out of the touch of reality.

  3. Well, I think Misery is one of the best books I have read, because it makes you feel what is happening and it makes you read more. When I started reading Misery I knew it was going to be a good book, because it has a good theme and the sequence of the story is very easy to understand. One of mi favorite chapters is the #17, because it is when Annie performs a little surgery to Paul’s leg... I felt very intricate, because I wouldn’t imagine the pain and horror that Paul was feeling in that moment. To sum up I really like the book and the ending was very good, because Paul finally escape from Annie and he published his new book Misery’s Return that sold millions of copies and at least he obtained something good out of all he had to go through.

  4. I really liked the book “Misery” because it was very interesting!! I really liked the suspense it had. I was always wondering what was going to happen next. I really didn’t expect the end but it was great. If I was Paul I would had kill her too. It was a nice book.

  5. I really enjoy reading misery, more than The Woman in White.
Misery is a very interesting book of suspense and mystery.
I think Annie, one of the main characters of the story, was crazy and Paul, another main character, was just innocent.
Poor Paul he doesn’t deserves that punishment only for a woman that wants to read the continuation of his books.
I really want to read books like that more often.
